  After finding out about ugly steaks it's my go to for steak night as well as when family comes to town. If you have never heard of an ugly steak you NEED to check out Dickman's.
  
  Generally we just give our steaks a little salt and pepper and grill them right up. They're so quick and easy and taste just amazing! They may be a little ugly but they're well worth the time to cook and stop by this business.
  
  They also have plenty other meats both fresh and frozen, if you are looking for a different place to get meat I would definitely recommend Dickman's it's outstanding and the people have always been great.

  There are not many true delis in town, but even if there were this one will give all others a run for their money.  This is a very quaint, traditional style meat market.  They have numerous freezers full of more exotic meats (exotic for the American taste bud I should say) that allows you to play with new recipes and new flavors.  What is inside the meat counter - i.e. what they cut fresh - is a nice selection for Tucson.  If you are visiting from the Midwest or Texas you would not be overly impressed, but for a desert rat born and raised, this place seems to have everything.
  
  The people behind the counter are very nice, though are not the best at balancing multiple customers.  If you go here, please be patient because you can tell that they are trying to balance everything.
  
  You can also get food served like you would at a restaurant, but I personally will be coming here for meat for my more fun recipes.

  Went in last night to buy some pork belly, great deal! Made some gnocchi with pork belly and roasted tomatoes and garlic. Added some mushrooms and pesto ricotta cheese. This was amazing with the pork belly.

  It was my first time shopping here and I was so excited! I had heard great things. I bought some frozen (very expensive) wagyu steak that I had been searching everywhere for. I thawed them and when I opened them, they were totally rotten, I had to throw them out immediately and didn't even try to cook them. My fiance and I have many years of culinary experience in kitchens, we know how to properly thaw and cook meat, and we also know good/bad meat when we see it. I was shocked, but you know, things happen. I have since emailed them twice politely asking for a refund or at least a response, I have called, and no answer. I wasted $70 on literal rotten meat. I would have had no issue if they handled this well, or even tried to handle this. But the complete lack of care in their products and customers made sure that I will never come here again.

  So I went to Dickman's today, I was really unhappy with some meat purchases at Safeway it just didn't taste good and was a good cut of meat. So, my friend told me to go to Dickman's meat I've known about Dickman's because I am from Tucson I was very Sorry to hear about the loss of one of their own a few years ago. I give them four stars because I made some of their chicken thighs and legs. Is delicious there's definitely a difference in the taste of the quality of poultry. Next I'm going to try their double cut pork chops that'll be tomorrow. Thank you so much For a great quality of poultry and pork chops. I will definitely shop there again, the prices are amazing, and the customer service was outstanding. If you're looking for good quality meat this is the place to go!
